Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data this website (sumanpaudel.me and sumanpaudel.com) and AI Explained Publisher, my personal content publishing tool, collect and how it is used. The short version: very little, and it is never sold.
1. This website
The website does not use cookies for tracking, does not run ads, and does not ask you to create an account. The hosting provider (Vercel) and CDN (Cloudflare) may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
2. Data the tool uses from connected accounts
The tool connects only to social media accounts I own (TikTok, Instagram and Facebook). When an account is connected through the platform's official login, the tool may receive:
- Basic profile info such as display name, avatar and account ID, to confirm which account is linked
- An access token, which lets the tool upload and publish content on my behalf
- Post info such as post IDs, publish status and basic performance numbers for my own posts
On TikTok specifically, the tool uses the user.info.basic, video.upload and video.publish scopes only to show the connected account and to upload and publish my own videos.
3. How the data is used
- to publish and schedule my own content
- to check that a post went live and see how it performed
It is not used for advertising, profiling, or anything else, and it is never sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes.
4. Service providers
Account connections and access tokens are managed through Composio, an integration service that stores tokens securely and makes the API calls. Content files may be stored temporarily with a cloud storage provider so the platforms can fetch them. These providers only process data to run the tool.
5. Retention and deletion
Access tokens are kept only while an account stays connected. You can remove access at any time:
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions
- Instagram / Facebook: Settings → Apps and websites
Once access is revoked, the stored token stops working and is deleted. To ask for any related data to be deleted, email me and I'll remove it within 30 days.
6. Security
Tokens are stored encrypted by the integration provider and all traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect the data.
7. Children
This website and tool are not directed at children under 13.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. See also the Terms of Service.
